This past Wednesday, October, 27, was a very important day for the JHS Girls! The girls wore pink to show their support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The Chessed Committee arranged special pink treats to be sold to the JHS girls. All proceeds made on Wednesday are being donated to Sharsheret, a Jewish Breast Cancer organization that helps women and their families fight and face the illness. We are happy and honored to share that, with the outpouring support from the YCQ JHS girls and faculty in just a few minutes, we raised over $400 for a special and meaningful Tzedakah! We are incredibly impressed with the girls’ eagerness and willingness to participate in a special mitzvah. Thank you to everyone who joined us for this special cause. Tizku Limitzvot!
