YCQ celebrated Thanksgiving one day early at our annual Grade 2 Thanksgiving Workshop. The classes were excited to participate in an afternoon of learning, crafts, and treats. Rabbi Landsman and Mrs. Cohen visited each class to hear a special Thanksgiving poem recited by the students. Student also shared one of the reasons why they are thankful. 

Mrs. Blum remarked, “Thanksgiving is a wonderful time of year in our classrooms. It is incredibly heartwarming to hear all the reasons why our students are thankful. They especially loved sharing their thoughts with Rabbi Landsman and Mrs. Cohen. Having them visit our classrooms is always a treat!” 

Thank you to Mrs. Benson, Morah Sara, and Morah Yasmin for organizing the Thanksgiving craft. The students loved making their “Thankful Turkeys.” Thank you to Mrs. Cohen and the Grade 2 Teachers for this awesome event!
