The Yeshiva of Central Queens (YCQ) Girls Basketball Team played their first home game on Tuesday night, December 21, against The Rosenbaum Yeshiva of North Jersey (YNJ) Jaguars. The first quarter ended with a score of 4 (YCQ) to 9 (YNJ). The girls fought hard the second quarter, and were able to out score the Jaguars, leaving the half with a score of 11 (YCQ) to 12 (YNJ). YCQ played a tough game, but lost to YNJ with a final score of 31 (YNJ) to 20 (YCQ). The high scorers for the Wildcats were both Rebecca Sisser (8G1) and Chani Samet (8G1) – scoring 6 points each. GO WILDCATS!
